Worked example: SaaS / Startups
Interactive SaaS website demonstration
Our own worked example: a clickable SaaS marketing site with a trial path, consented site-action measurement and an illustrative CRM handoff.
A demonstration build on one of our own live demos, not a client project. It shows exactly how we’d approach yours.
Ledger is one of our seven live demos. We built it as an illustrative SaaS marketing site organised around a trial path. The product and content are ours, so the interface demonstrates an approach rather than a client outcome. Open the live Ledger demo →
The brief we set ourselves
The brief a SaaS team usually brings us is a marketing site that sells the app and stays fast, clear and measured. Four jobs:
- Explain the product in seconds: the dashboard, the outcome and the price in the first view.
- Make the sign-up path frictionless from any page.
- Nurture visitors who need more time before choosing a plan.
- Record agreed trial-path actions after consent and retain the available first-touch source context.
What we built
A fast marketing site on Next.js and React, the stack your engineers will respect:
- A product-led hero with a dashboard preview, clear feature blocks, and pricing tiers on the page for self-serve plans.
- "Start free" calls to action that follow the reader down the page, keeping sign-up within a tap.
- A content structure that gives priority buyer questions and comparisons a dedicated page.
Everything in the demo is live and recolourable. Drag the palette and the whole product site repaints to a new brand in seconds.
Wiring the website boundary
The illustrative setup records agreed website actions and hands captured records to the chosen system:
- GA4 events on agreed steps such as pricing viewed, sign-up started and trial created, configured to follow the visitor's consent choice.
- CRM handoff for submitted demo requests and newsletter sign-ups, carrying the available first-touch source context.
- Google Ads site-action measurement using the agreed consented events. Turing BI owns governed trial, client and revenue reconciliation across business systems.
Turing Websites owns the marketing site, capture and consented site measurement. Post-capture follow-up belongs in the Turing Automate layer.
The decisions, and why
- Speed and clarity are release checks. The build tests Core Web Vitals on agreed devices and puts the product, audience and next action in the first screen.
- Pricing in the open. The demonstration presents self-serve tiers before sign-up and gives enterprise scope a separate sales route.
- As hands-on or hands-off as you want. Your team can own the code (it's React) or leave the marketing site to us. It's yours either way.
What a build like this costs
Fixed and itemised, from £2,000. The exact number depends on scope and is published on our pricing page. A SaaS marketing site like this typically takes around 6–10 weeks, depending on how settled your positioning is.
This is how we'd build yours
Ledger is our own demonstration, made clickable, and the thinking behind it is written up on our web design for startups page. If you want a SaaS site built and measured the same way, tell us where you're headed and the person who'd do the work replies personally.
